New sewing workshop!

I seem to have outgrown the house, there is fabric everywhere! The solution? A dedicated sewing studio and fabric store!

My lovely husband has come to my rescue, he is an artist and has a large studio in a converted barn just down the road from us, half of which he wasn't really using and he has generously handed it over to me!! Here it is after most of the junk has been moved out, just in need of decorating and girlyfying!

Since the photo I have painted and bought shelving, rug etc and with post with my progress tomorrow.

  2. Oooh I can't wait to see! I'm getting ready to set up my first crafty sewing room for quilting..and such. I'm just getting my fabric out of a bin that it was in now and washing and ironing and folding it all. Still trying to figure out what I want the room to look like on a budget. Can't wait to see what you do for ideas.

  4. ahh, very good. and surely, someone who owns her own shop needs her own studio, am I right? It is only fair, given that your hubby probably has his own studio?
