New Wave Finished!

It has been a glorious day today so I sat outside finishing off my binding. I love this stage of a quilt and find the final hand stitching so relaxing. So here it is...

Sitting casually in the evening sun, Oh Fransson's New Wave quilt made in yummy fabrics from my shop, Jessica Levitt's 'Timber' and
Kona Medium Gray.

The back is pieced with some of the offcuts.

And bound with the Timber stripe.
I have got a new supply of Timber coming in the next couple of days in the Fuschia colour way, what shall I make to show that off! It is fun having a shop!!!

  2. My fabric wish list is growing by the minute. The quilt looks fabulous - simple and stunning. I also adore the Laura Gunn Poppies quilt that you showed off recently.

  4. That quilt is just gorgeous! I love the wave design. Now what do you think it'd look like done in brights using the Patty Young Play Dates Fabric with some Kona Solid (don't know which colour yet) to tone it down?? MMMmmmm, I'll have to have a think!

  5. Looks great! I can't even imagine how you are getting any sewing done with all that tempting fabric sitting around?!?! I fear that I'd just be staring at it and touching it all day :)
